The British Red Cross is a volunteer-led humanitarian organisation that helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. We enable vulnerable people at home and overseas to prepare for and respond to emergencies in their own communities. When the crisis is over, we help people recover and move on with their lives.

The Children's Trust provides care, education and therapy to children with multiple disabilities and complex health needs.

They also run the UK's largest rehabilitation centre for children who have an acquired brain injury.
We are an international development organisation, dedicated to supporting disadvantaged and vulnerable children and young people in Nepal. We work closely with local Nepalese organisations, on projects which are child-focused, child-friendly, and aim to empower children and communities to create a brighter future for themselves.
Our mission is to help people living in extreme poverty achieve major improvements in their lives, which last and spread without ongoing support from Concern. To this end, Concern will work with the poor themselves, and with local and international partners who share our vision, to create just and peaceful societies where the poor can exercise their fundamental rights. To achieve this mission we engage in long term development work, respond to emergency situations, and seek to address the root causes of poverty through our development education and advocacy work.

The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign is the only UK charity focusing on all muscular dystrophies and allied disorders.
Muscular Dystrophy is the gradual and relentless wasting and weakening of muscles. It affects babies, young people and adults of any race and background. More than 60,000 people in the UK have muscle disease or a related muscular dystrophy and 300,000 people are indirectly affected as relatives, carers and friends. The condition is often inherited but can occur out of the blue, even where there is no history of muscular dystrophy in the family. There are no cures or treatments which prevent the breakdown of muscle, but increased knowledge has improved the quality of people’s lives and – in many cases – length of life.
The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign is the only UK charity focusing on all muscle disease. It has pioneered the search for a cure for nearly 50 years, and are dedicated to improving the lives of all people affected by muscle disease. We rely almost entirely on voluntary donations to support our vital work.
Wessex Heartbeat was established in 1992 and thanks to the generosity of many individuals and organisations over the years, we have been able to make a real difference to the care of the patients of the Wessex Cardiac Centre (WCC) in Southampton. Now a Centre of Excellence, the WCC treats over 20,000 patients annually and around 1000 babies and children born with congenital heart defects. Cardiovascular disease causes nearly 40% of all deaths annually in the UK. This sadly means that at some time, most of us will be affected by this disease whether it is ourselves, our loved ones or our colleagues. Our Mission is to ensure that everyone affected by heart conditions receives the best possible support
